Plovdiv is the second largest city in Bulgaria, located 150 km from the capital Sofia. Famous cultural monuments, ancient theater, numerous art galleries and the International Art Fair, it is one of the sites visited. The incredible spirit of the city is not only because of the many antiquities, but also well built and maintained in the city center. The combination in the city of Plovdiv between the old town, the renovated buildings and the modern shops gives you the feeling that this is the place where you can find everything you need. The one-day tour from Sofia to Plovdiv involves traveling about 80-90 minutes each time depending on the traffic and weather conditions. Take a stroll in the old city center of Plovdiv and the rest for lunch if you wish.

Day trip to Koprivshtitsa

Koprivshtitsa is located in the mountainous area. It is located in the picturesque valley along the river in the heart of the central forest of Topolnitsa. It is located 16 km from the southern part of the mountain road, 110 km from Sofia, 24 km from Pirdop, 24 km from Strelcha and 90 km from Plovdiv. A day trip from Sofia to Koprivshtitsa, if you wish we will spend lunch time in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant. The highest city in Bulgaria, with a pronounced continental climate of the mountains. The winter period in relation to the typical flow of air masses from the south is soft and sunny, with thick snow, cool in the summer and fresh, thanks to the high altitude of the North for many years, due to the high slopes of the Balkan Mountains.

Day trip to Bachkovo Monastery

Although the Bachkovo Monastery survived the initial invasion of the Turkish troops, it later followed the fate of most other Orthodox monasteries on our lands and was plundered and destroyed. The church, for its part, also abounds in beautiful icons, but what most attracts visitors is the icon of the Virgin, which is considered miraculous.
